MINUTES

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors of the Evansville Parks Foundation, Inc., was
called to order by President, Pam Hight.
Members Present: Dan Berry, Jeff Duncan, Gail Dunn, Tammy Evans, Pam Hight, Patti Hurley, Jim Keck, Ashley McReynolds, Laurel Meny, Jim Michels, Larry Miller, Robert Morgan, Rick Pace, Lauren Piekos, Rhett Schreiber, Craig Titzer, Jill Trautvetter
Absent With Notice: Scott Albertson, Jeanie Brubeck, Natalie Klump
Absent Without Notice: Jim Schmidt
Proxies: Scott Albertson – Jim Keck, Jeanie Brubeck – Ashley McReynolds, Natalie Klump – Jill Trautvetter
Patti Hurley moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting with the correction of Chris and Laurel Mills were participating in the Burger Cook Off. Jim Michels seconded.
Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report
Dan Berry, Treasurer, distributed copies of the Statement of Activities, Statement of Financial Position and Supplementary Schedule for April and May, 2014. Operating revenues for the period totaled $28,159.28 and operating expenses totaled $26,439.70. Jim Keck moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Patti Hurley seconded.
Motion carried.

Fundraising Committee Reports
Phyllis Schreiber Golf Invitational
Rhett Schreiber explained they has 19 teams and 31 sponsors. He stated the event went well and suggested next year they forgo the prizes. He stated it was difficult to secure prizes for each team and since the entry fee was so low he didn’t think it was necessary
Evening on the River
Jill Trautvetter explained tickets would be available at KEB and the Parks Administration Office at the $50 and $35 price until 4:00 pm on Friday. After that they would go up $5 to the at the door price. Pam Hight explained she had been contacted by Kan Pai wanting to participate in the event. She stated she had contacted them numerous times with no call back and now the program was printed and the tables, tents, etc., ordered. She explained it would cost approximately $900 to let them participate. Members voted to allow Kan Pai to participate in the event. Mrs. Trautvetter reminded members of the Wrap Up meeting on Friday, June 13, at 12:00 noon in the Snack Bar of the Community Center.
