Message from the President

Melody Terry has served on the Board of Directors of the Evansville Parks Foundation for five years. She is employed by Leadership Evansville as the Director of Operations. She has one son and is an Evansville native.

Letter from the President

As President of the Evansville Parks Foundation I am so proud to be a part of a board and a community that gives tirelessly and demonstrates the willingness to roll up its sleeves and give back.  In the years that I have been on the board at EPF we have built and funded playgrounds in under served areas of the community; at Fulton Housing area and Bellemeade Park.  We have also built and funded a Disc Golf Course, helped to coordinate clean up and revitalization efforts in other parks.  This is a board where volunteer means more than sitting on a board. We roll up our sleeves and give back where ever we can.  Everyone on this board believes in the importance of parks to our families, our community and our quality of life and we are committed to that partnership.

Please join us on May 5 for the annual Phyllis Schreiber Golf Invitational and on June 3 for Evening on the River.  Both of these events are fundraisers that help us put money back in to the Parks and Golf Courses in Evansville.  If you would like more information about either of these events call 435-6161.
